1. Squak Mountain Trail Maintenance

Where: Squak Mountain
Squak Mountain is one of the known 3 primary mountains in the Issaquah Alps and public use levels are much lower here than on Tiger and Cougar. Most of these trails are either 20-year-old forest roads or are user built trails. Over the past decade, the Greenway Trust has begun maintaining these trails to accommodate more users, to cope up with the demand for outdoor recreation throughout this region. As of today, Squak Mountain has over 2,000 acres of forest offering hiking, equestrian trails, and excellent wildlife habitat.
2.Free Meditation Class

3. Lunar New Year Community Dinner

Come and join for a casual community dinner in celebrating Lunar New Year together! There will be a special Lunar New Year menu that will be available for purchase from Auntie's Family Kitchen Food Truck. It features a scrumptious line up of Chinese delicacies such as shrimp siomai, steamed pork buns, chow mein, fried rice, cashew chicken and many more! Mingle with neighbors and friends while kids enjoy a variety of free Lunar New Year activities.

Theatre33 Youth Group presents Animal Tales by Don Nigro, a prolific, award-winning American playwright. A collection of funny and thoughtful stories about humans as animals. In this production we will connect the stories to prominent historical events, from the dawn of civilization, ancient culture, Renaissance, French Revolution, Suffrage Movement, Countercultural (Hippie) movement to Virtual Reality expansion. Each short story takes place at a certain historical time and provokes philosophical and existential questions.
5. Samena Health & Fitness Fair

6. Birds in our Midst, Creating Gardens Filled with Life

Come and learn as Julie O'Donald will provide an overview of the elements that create beautiful gardens for birds and people. She will emphasize the best native plants for birds and design features that create habitat. Photos of birds with their food plants will demonstrate how to bring nature home to any size property. Julie's personal certified wildlife habitat contains over 200 species of native plants and attracts birds, butterflies, pollinators and beneficial insects.
7. Create a painting with a chicken!

Create your own masterpiece with the footprints of one of our resident chickens. Children will also have a chance to pet the chicken artists and feed them some yummy treats. Don't worry, the finger paint is washable and non-toxic, but wear clothes that you don’t mind getting stained. You will surely have fun with this unique activity.
