Lent Activities You Can Do With Your Kids
Easter moves around every year on a different date and it starts on Ash Wednesday. Lent covers 40 days period before easter and it reflects Jesus’ time of prayer and fasting. This is the season where we teach our kids about the three pillars of Lent, almsgiving, fasting, and prayer, and that God is the most important aspect of our lives.

Prayer Time
When kids start praying while they were you they would grow up feeling that it is a natural thing. Whether before meals or at night before they sleep.

Lenten Candles
Place the candle in a plate of sand, and lit it on a particular day during Lent, to represent 40 days that Jesus spent in the dessert.

Read Easter Book
One of the best ways to create memories and to start a family tradition during Easter. Easter stories will surely add a special touch to your family’s festivities.

Decorate Easter Eggs
Get the whole family involved and prepare to decorate your Easter egg. You can use egg dyeing kits for kids and adults for a quick fix.

Make A Lenten Wreath
Create a Lenten wreath with grapevines it looks similar to the crown of thorns. You can also decorate it with palm leaves, black cloth, ribbons, crucifix, and other things that symbolize Lent.

Home Altar
Create or decorate a home altar, consider adding things like candles, flowers, holy water, holy oil, rosaries, and crucifixes.

Make Stations Of The Cross At Home For Kids
You can print images or symbols available online to complete all the stations. You can also ask them to create small crosses using a popsicle stick in each station.

Bury The Alleluia
You can help your kids create an alleluia banner wrap it in purple paper and display it on Easter morning, or a plastic egg with alleluia written on a piece of paper inside and include it in their egg hunt bury the alleluia banner and egg then resurrect it on Easter Sunday.
